Faded Rose Costume Devil Boudoir Doll: Custom Order

This Boudoir Doll reflects the Scandalous fun of the 1920s Valentine's Day Masquerade Extravaganzas! Each doll is made to capture the essence of the Costumed Devil Boudoir Doll of the 1920s. It is difficult to find one in good condition because they were originally made of felt, but you can at times find an image of a dapper young man giving his lady one of these charming little Devil Boudoir Dolls.

Faded Rose Costumed Devil Boudoir Doll is made of painted Muslin that has simulated wear added, and cloth face with inset eyes. She will be wearing a skirt (that ties at the side), cuffs and permanent shoes that have been painted on. Faded Rose Costumed Devil Boudoir Dolls will have a turn head.

I have decided to make cloth faces with these boudoir dolls. If you would like to have a Clay face please contact me before so that I can change listing price. The originals had composition heads, and were seen with and without hair.

Please note: that the doll shown is just an example. Aspects of doll may differ because materials used such as buttons are Vintage or Antique. Please also note that each face is individually sculpted, and hand painted for each order.

Hair:
Select color: Black, Platinum or Red. If you would like a different color I will check if it is available when I go to order. If you do choose a color not listed please list an additional color. Please note: hair is special ordered (it may take time to get here). But I will be working on your doll while I wait for shipment. Please contact me if you would like synthetic hair instead of mohair.

Face coloring:
Similar colors as on the example will be used unless specified on your request. *please note: I do not do white eyeshadow on the face, it does not show up.

Size:
Doll will range from 28" - 31" inches.

Doll Completion:
By creating this doll I am not making it for the purpose of it becoming a Valentine's Day gift. I thought it would be fun to introduce it before Valentine's Day. If you would like this item to be a Valentine's Day gift please contact me before ordering. So that I can calculate delivery time of when hair shipment will arrive.

International buyers your doll probably will not make it before Valentine's Day.
